Opolo Global Innovation representative, Usman Liam, Innovation Hub Admin, ATBU had the privilege of participating in the Ecosystem Development Drive at the American Space, Bauchi. The event served as an excellent platform for engaging with key stakeholders and exploring collaborative opportunities to advance our ICT ecosystem initiatives.
The discussions among several influential figures focused on the strategic direction and support for ICT initiatives within the state, highlighting the importance of Innovation enablers aligning efforts with the state’s broader goals. The Director General of the Bauchi State Bureau of ICT (BICT), who hosted the event, shared valuable insights into the current state of ICT development in Bauchi. Also discussed was the pivotal role that BICT plays in fostering innovation, emphasizing the need for continued support and collaboration to drive progress.
This conversation underscored the importance of creating environments that nurture and support emerging talent. Engagements with the 3MTT Community Lead Bauchi opened up discussions on opportunities for collaboration and mutual support in advancing research communication and technological skills. These interactions were particularly valuable in identifying ways to strengthen the community ties and enhance the impact of our initiatives.
